Whats happening with Crew!
April 8, 2011Hi all,
Just a few updates. Please look at the website often as we have been keeping it updated with all the activity that is happening.
Thank you to the rowers and parents that volunteered last weekend at the stores. We sold about 400 ducks and collected about 100 lbs of food for the pantry, Great Job!
We have one more weekend to sell ducks – April 22, 23 at HPM and Stop & Shop. We need 11 parent volunteers for 1 1/2 hr shifts. Its really easy, you just supervise the kids who do the selling. I provide everything you need, just bring your book. Low stress position! Shifts are 9-10:30 10:30-12 and last shift 12-2. Please e-mail me if you can help.
CREW MEMBERS: don’t forget to work on getting your yellow sheets filled out. The yellow duck sheet sales are what get us to our goal. If everyone can sell 20 ducks we will have sold another 2000 ducks. If you’ve lost your sheet you can get a new one from the Website.
Don’t forget Tuesday April 12th at the Wood & Tap. They will donate 10% of every bill where the coupon (that is on the home page of our website)is used to FHS CREW if the . Grab your friends and family and come join us between 5-10pm. Remember to bring the coupon.
“Rowing for Pieces” our fundraising campaign for a new shell benefiting Autism Speaks is moving at great speed. Farmington Bank has signed on to be our presenting sponsor and Resolute has joined as a supporter. Individual puzzle pieces have also been sold . The order form is up on our website if you speak with anyone that is interested. Please direct them to www.farmingtoncrew.org
If you have any questions or ideas for making these 3 events more successful, please send me an email or give me a call . Many hands make for light work!
Best
